I know what it feels like when something is off and no one can quite tell you why.
A few years ago, I went through health challenges that many women might recognize. My energy and mood shifted, I had no motivation to exercise, and everything felt more difficult than it should have. I was dealing with stress and personal loss, but even taking that into account, I knew something more was going on.
I spent time researching, learning, and testing different approaches. I had comprehensive lab work and found imbalances that hadn’t shown up in previous routine testing. I tried supplements, changing my diet, and even acupuncture for sleep and to support my nervous system. I made changes, one at a time. It wasn’t one answer, but a process of trying to figure it out.
Over time, I figured out what was working and things improved. Eventually, I came out of it stronger, clearer, and more deliberate about my health. I have worked with other women to help them figure it out and that’s what I want for you so you’re not trying to figure it all out on your own.
My own health challenges, my experience working with others, plus my background in health and wellness, allows me to help other women connect the dots and get to the root of what’s going on, instead of spending years chasing symptoms one at a time.
My background
My work in health and wellness spans more than 30 years and includes coaching, research, writing, editing, and leadership roles focused on nutrition, education, and community health. I have worked in nonprofits, including as founding executive director, in consumer advocacy, and the broader wellness space. I have often translated complex health information into language people can actually use.
What it means for you is simple: I don’t just understand information. I help you apply it in a way that fits your life.

My approach
The Seed of Life is my logo for a reason. It has seven overlapping circles that represent the “blueprint” of nature. To me, it symbolizes the interconnectedness of health.
Your hormones, gut, sleep, stress, and energy don’t work in isolation. Physical, emotional, and mental factors all play a role, and they influence each other more than most people realize.
Functional medicine and integrative health and nutrition ask: What’s actually causing the issue and what can we do? By addressing the foundational roots of our health, we move beyond “fixing” individual symptoms and toward creating a state of abundant, lasting health.
